What started as a concept for an NFT project evolved from virtual to physical over the last two years. While Craft Beer Spots has been a passion project for the last few years, only now is it culminating in delivering in differentiated value I’m excited about.
Starting with the center of Charlotte (Independence Square) and outward, seventy breweries are covered here, ordered by driving distance from that center. For each card, I tapped into my research on Craft Beer Spots to provide a picture, description, and the distance from the nearest brewery and other craft beer spots (a craft bar or bottle shop). The result is a roadmap to planning excursions and checking out nearby places you may not have known about. I’ve also researched what date each opened, and for those in Charlotte proper, in which neighborhood they are located. Linking back to Craft Beer Spots, there is a QR code for each place: the main brewery being covered and the two other locations.
I commissioned a craft beer label artist to work with me on the design for the cards and then worked with the card printer on designs for the foil packs and display boxes.
I’m very happy with how they came out and are in production now. I’m taking pre-orders, but the next project will be an effective marketing effort to get them placed in as many breweries and other craft beer spots as possible. Wish me luck!
