I thought this glass was share-worthy. Flying Saucer has a pint glass night from time to time where you can get limited edition beer glasses. They often align with holidays or events and this was the glass for Father’s Day 2017.
The idea of offering recommendation services for products and services is a bit of a new concept for many. It walks the line between an analyst service and a kind of free third-party pre-sales service. Explaining this clearly while also letting people know it is free can take a lot of reading. I was not convinced people were bothering to digest my offering and so I decided to have an explainer video produced.

Virgin Mobile FreeFest is on its way this October 6th. I’ve gone the last couple of years and it is always an awesome time. This year, I’m most excited to see Jack White, Ben Folds Five and Skrillex. A few other bands on the list are interesting too, but most I’d not heard of. As a Spotify user, I’ve created a collaborative playlist containing the top few songs by each band in an effort to make sure I don’t regret making my way over to one of the smaller stages to catch a future favorite. I love my gadgets. I’ve been buying up the latest toys for some time and am the target audience when it comes to products by Apple and now Microsoft. However, Apple has been doing this for a while and I’m invested now. What would it take for me to jump on a new platform (and what that really means is to invest in another set of applications)?
After seeing the dreaded “VMware Fusion internal monitor error” (NOT_IMPLEMENTED report) from VMWare, a quick look around pointed me to VirtualBox as the way to go and I can confirm it was a simple process to get it up and running. Below are what I used, the steps I took and some things I learned along the way installing Windows 8 on my MacBook Pro with VirtualBox.
